01 Platform · Records and pipelines
The same records, seven ways.
One dataset, rendered however the question needs it. A board when you are moving work, a calendar when you are scheduling it, a map when it is spread across a territory. The chrome around it does not move, because it is one desk rather than seven tools.
02 The shape
Your nouns, not ours.
A record type is whatever your business actually tracks. Jobs, tickets, quotes, properties, moulds, machines, cases. Not a contact and a deal with your real work squeezed into custom fields on the side of them.
And they get defined as you need them rather than up front. Describe the thing you track and it proposes the shape, the fields, and who should be able to see them.
Stages are where the work is, not what it is called.
A pipeline is the actual path work takes through your business, and each stage can be its own working screen built from blocks rather than a label on a column. Whoever opens a card in that stage sees what that step needs, which is usually not the whole record.
03 It moves itself
A card lands, and the stage runs the play.
Rules fire on their own
On entering a stage, on leaving one, on sitting in one too long, or when a condition becomes true. The workflow moves forward without anyone chasing it.
A rule can put an agent on it
Entering a stage can run a specialist against that record, unattended, and write the answer back. The card arrives at the person already prepared. It still sends nothing outward.
Everything shows what it is waiting on
Every record shows what it is linked to and where each of those has got to, so the question of what is holding this up answers itself instead of being asked in a meeting.
Describe it and the board appears
Say how the work runs in your own words and it generates the pipeline, the stages and the views. You see a live preview and edit it. Nothing is saved until you say so.
Bring the spreadsheets in.
Years of them. They come in as live records rather than as an attachment nobody opens, and the agents can work on them the same day.
